The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible smile.amazon.com purchases. Tens of millions of products are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their smile.amazon.com product detail pages. 

If you want Amazon to donate to VMAQ Monument Foundation, you need to start each shopping session at the URL smile.amazon.com, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases.

Remember, only purchases made at smile.amazon.com, (not www.amazon.com or the mobile app) generate AmazonSmile donations.   See below for instructions on setting up your mobile devices:

1. If you have the Amazon App installed, remove it. Don’t worry, this will not delete your Amazon account or any of your settings. To do this, tap and hold the app icon until it starts to jiggle. Tap the small “x” at the top left of the icon and confirm that you want to delete it. 
2. Now load Safari (the iPhone internet browser) and go to smile.amazon.com.
3. Tap the ‘SHARE’ button on the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap the ‘Add to Home Screen’ icon. You may need to swipe to the left to see this.
5. Name the icon whatever you like, or accept the default name.
6. You will now have an AmazonSmile icon on your home screen which you can use in exactly the same way you used the Amazon App.
7. You should now see AmazonSmile in the upper left corner of the screen. In the upper right corner of the screen, you should see “Hello, (your name)”. If not, log in and the process will be complete.

2. Open your Chrome mobile browser, go to smile.amazon.com and add it as a bookmark.
3. Press and hold on the home screen you want the place the bookmark shortcut on. Select Widgets from the menu. Depending on your device, you may need to tap Apps and Widgets, or a similarly-named menu option.
4. Press and hold on the Chrome Bookmark widget, then drag it to the home screen of your choosing. There will need to be space on the home screen to successfully add a new widget.
5. Choose a bookmarked website from your collection. You will see the name of the widget’s icon change to the site’s name. Tap it to open the website.
